Installing "Access Remote PC"

Installing Access Remote PC is very simple. Just follow these steps:

Step 1

(This step may take up to 15 minutes if you have a dial-up Internet connection.)

Download the Access Remote PC installation program and save it in the 'My Documents' folder.
Click here to download. When prompted, save the RPCSETUP.EXE file in the My Documents folder.

If you have already downloaded and installed Access Remote PC during an earlier session, click Start --> Programs --> Access Remote PC --> Server. Then proceed to Step 3.

Step 2

Double-click (run) the rpcsetup.exe file.
Some computers will need to reboot at this point. If you are asked to reboot, accept. When the computer has rebooted, run the rpcsetup.exe file again.

The installation screens will appear as follows. Just click on the indicated button(s).

(Hilltop will provide the appropriate username and password.)

Step 3

Find the Internet IP Address of your computer. You MUST be connected to the Internet before performing this step!

Write down the the Internet IP address. You will need to provide it to Hilltop so that a technician can connect to your PC.
